BR 2-13: Christmas around the world

“People have been enjoying Christmas for over 2,000 years.” (Jane, 2005, p.8) I didn’t know that people have been enjoying since so many years ago. For me, I really love Christmas because it makes me excited very much. Moreover, Christmas eve is my mother’s birthday so we enjoy Christmas as a birthday party and Christmas party. That day is very special too. Since my mother’s birthday, my father cooks every year. He cooks really well so we’re looking forward to eating his dinner every year. Oneday, I want to try staying abroad on the Christmas day. I also like illumination. I went to see it last week with my family in Miysasaki. There was so beautiful with so many lights. I also want to go to Huistenbos to see the illumination :)

My favorite sports player

My favorite sports player is Kagawa Shinji. He is a professional soccer player. He's in Germany now and he belongs to Dortmund. When I first saw him, he scored 2 goals already and after that, he scored a goal almost every game and he began to show up in the lots of news. He scored 12 goals this year!!! What I like about him is accuracy of shoots and he is doing his best in the foreign country, though he can't speak German. While I was watching the news about him, I thought that he isn't afraid of making mistakes and doesn't make excuse that "I don't understand German". He doesn't matter with language. I was realized that I shouldn't get away from anything, for example, studying, club, living and so on. He gave me a way to do my best so I want to try lots of things from now on.

My favorite song

My favorite song is "Hero". This song was sung by FUNKY MONKEY BABYS. The song is about "daddy" and when I listened to it at second time, I was almost crying. Our father is working for us, family. The song expresses that and I was really moved by that song. Why I didn't moved at first time, that is because I couldn't listen it carefully. They sang it at Kohaku Utagassen and my father said that "There are many songs about mothers but not so many songs about fathers. This song is nice". I also thought so but I couldn't listen it carefully at that time but now, I listened to the song, I can really cry. One reason is I live by myself. I can't stay with him every day so I feel sad. I really love my father so I feel sadder when I listen to it but also, I feel so thank you to him :)

My favorite drama

My favorite drama is "Gold", though it finished already. I haven't watched drama when I'm in Miyazaki because in Miyazaki, there are only 2 channels except 2 NHK channels so there are not so many drama. "Getsu9" which means 9:00pm on Monday also doesn't show in Miyazaki. However, Kumamoto has many interesting dramas, so I often watch recently, especially since I started living in an apartment this February. At first, I didn't plan to watch that drama but my sister liked the actor so I recorded it for sister. However, when I watched it once, it was very interesting story about bringing up children and so on. Then I came to watch it in real time every Thursday.

Kimono

On Sunday, I went to the party of giving conferment, which is given by emperor, for a ex-Diet member. My cousin and I had to give him a bunch of flowers so we wore a kimono. My grandmother can help us get dressed very well and our kimono are very old. They're used since our mother was a little child.
I like to wear kimono and it makes me happy. I've been dancing traditional Miyazaki dance since I was born and I've worn a kimono as a Okame-san for 16 years. When I danced it for the first time, I was a 4 years old. That's why I love kimono.
This day, the party was from 11:00 am so I went to my grandparents' house at 9:00. She dressed my cousin and I. I wore earlier then went to the hotel first then I took with my father. He was in the work time but he came to see us. The man standing right to me is my father :) He is really nice☆
I'm not sure that you can see but our kimono has swallowtail and that's because, our family emblem is swallowtail (butterfly).
At all events, I had a good time this day and was really happy to wear kimono :) Next year has a coming-of-age ceremony so I'll wear it again. I'm looking forward to wearing it again.

Essay 2-03a: Enjoy Hard Work

I'm a 2nd year student of university and I'm having really busy.. too busy days everyday. That is why, because I have a lot of homework, presentations, exams and so on. For me, I really don't like homework because I don't have much time everyday. Since I'm living by myself, I have to do every hausework by myself and I go to club everyday and come home late so homework makes me tired and of course this essay too. But is this really hard work for me?


When I was a high school student, I was thinking the same things. I have lots of homework, have to go to club everyday, come home late.. and so on. However, oneday, I realized that these things are important for me because I only can experience those, in that time. Then what about now? I live by myself, doing every things, going club every day and so on. Are those things can do in the future after I graduated from university? ....I don't think so and I remembered the high school days.


Living alone feel very lonely. There is only I in my room. At first, I really missed my family and often had a homesick. But now, I don't feel lonely so much better than before. I enjoy living by myself. After I leaved the doam, I have to cook everyday. I'm not so good at cooking but I like cooking so I enjoy cooking in my home. That is also hard work for me but it's a good experience. After I started living alone, I thought I'm lucky. That's because, living alone is good study for being nice person. I also realized that how my parents are great.


One more thing that I think it's a hard work is the club. As you may know, I belong to the rowing club and I go to Ezuko 6 times a week. Only Monday is day off for us. However, I have a speaking class in the 5th period so I can't do anything on Monday. From September to December, for 3 months, my friends couldn't come to the club because they had job experience. I was of course alone and I helped the rower. At first, I felt it's so hard work but recently, I realy enjoy helping them and talking with them. I think that's because I became alone.


As you can see, not only me but also so many students have hard work. However, as I said before, we can experience these things only in university and there is also, of course enjoy not only hard work but also hung out with my friends when I have day off. We go to Karaoke, eat out, shopping and so on. I really like to hung out with my friends :) I have 2 more years and I'll be 3rd grade next year and have prepare for job exam so to get a good job, I will do my best!

Univ. life in 25 years

I will be 45 years old in 25 years. I don’t think I’m studying in university but if I’m studying in university, I don’t think I’m having fun with my friends. I’m 45 years old and everyone is around 20s so I’m really old in them. It’s hard for me to make friends with those young people. However, I want to try rowing again so I will enter the rowing club again. Rowing doesn’t matter age and I can row by myself so I’m not try to win but want to enjoy rowing at Ezuko.

I’m having fun with university life now. Though I have lots of homework, have to do presentation and so on but on the other hand, that’s only that I can do in the university life. I will be more busy next year and have to start preparing for job exam but I would like to enjoy my university life.

BR 2-12: The Game

"Brad, are you in the game?" (Millet, 2007, p.4). He was sucked into the game. Finally, he comes back so you don't need to worry. haha When I was a little child, I didn't have any games so of course I didn't play game. My parents didn't want their children to have or play game and neither did I. I didn't think like "I want to play a game!" or something. That's because, I enjoyed with another things, for example, sports or card and so on. I don't like game even now. It's not good for our health as you know, and much worse for children. I heard from my friend that nowadays, children go to park bringing games. They go to a park not to play but to play games. That's terrible, isn't it? That's one reason why children get sick more than before, I think. I don't deny playing games but children shouldn't play too much for their health.

BR 2-11: Mr.Bean

I really like Mr. Bean since a few years ago. He doesn't speak so much but he's so funny!! Rather, he doen't speak so much "so" he is funny, I think. I watched a movie of this book when I was a high school student. My mother rented a DVD of Mr.Bean and I watched it with my family. We really laughed too much and it was like sit-ups.
My favorite story is Chapter 3-Wet Trousers (Curtis, 1997, p.11). In this chapter, he says "What am I going to do? I can't meet Mr.Grierson with wet trousers!" (Curtis, 1997, p.11). He is in the Grierson Gallery then he went to the rest room. He started washing his hands but his trousers got wet. After he got wet, he trys to dry his trousers. That sroty is so funny and I really like that scene also in the movie. In the speaking class, we watched Mr.Bean's video then described what he's doing. It was of course funny so it was hard for me to describe without laughing. haha However, he is very earnest person despite Mr.Bean's appearances. That's also why I like him very much :)

BR 2-10: Twins

My younger sister and I are really similar. When I was looking at photo album of childfood, I couldn't find which girl is me. We're very similar and everyone says like that. We often take for "twins" though my sister is younger than I by 2 years. I didn't think we're like twins but since my sister entered to the same high school. she became more taller than before. She is 164cm and I am 166cm so the tall is almost same now. She has visited my school for open campus and at that time, everyone said "She is the living image of you!!". After she entered to the high school, she was often taken for me. My teacher said "Asaki" dor my sister. Even my family take us for each other. haha When we went to Tokyo for English speech contest, my teacher gave my ticket to my sister^^; Everyone says when we meet for the first time. At school, restaurant, hotel and even in the hot springs. However, I like to be said "Are you twins?" so I'm happy now and I love her :)

BR 2-09: Don't throw it away

Now, almost all the products can throw, for example, plastic bags, used paper, old food or whatever. On the hand, those things also can be recycled into another products. Nowadays, people can make clothes by used plastic bottles. When I was a 3rd grade of high school student, I went to Saitama for inter-high-school athletic competition of rowing in summer vacation. We get some goods every year in that competition and that year, we got a T-shirt made by used plastic bottles. The T-shirt says "Think Future" and bottom of it has a explanation in picture that how it has made. At first, I didn't realize but my friend told me. That's very confortable to wear and I love it.
It's not good to throw away food even if it's old. I don't mean that we should eat old food because old food is of course not good for our body but if we can't eat, we shouldn't buy too much. We must eat them completely if we buy food. I'm living by myself so I take care of food and I always try to buy food as much as I can eat all.

BR 2-08: Tea with Grumpyboots

I like to have a tea with my family or friends or anyone so I like to go to restaurant or cafe. When we have tea together, we talk about so many things. That's also my one reason . What's more, if we have tea, we always eat dessert something match to tea. I also love those dessert and sweets. I especially like to go cafe or restaurant after school. We can talk about what we did on that day and so on. I often go to Joyfull with my teammate after the club. I went Joyfull again on Tuesday. My junior asks for us to go there so we often go there.
My other favorite place is Taiyaki shop near Ezuko. We found there last year. After 7:00, all the taiyaki become half price, 50 yen. There's taiyaki and other food and really cheap so I often went there with my friends and we still go there after club, almost in weekend. Do you have any place that you like to have a tea? My favorite perfume

I like to correct perfumes. I really have lots of perfumes. On those perfumes, I have 3 perfumes that I especially like recently. At first, Maria Sharapova. This perfume is a little bit floral fragrance. I like the last fragrance. Perfume has 3 steps of fragrance. Then next is FINE LUNA. Its fragrance is unstimulating so I like the first fragrance. Finally, this is my favorite one now, Jeanne LANVIN. This is really nice fragrance. Its fragrance is soft and tender. I really love this one. I think this is good for pillow to sleep well because this is also unstimulationg and soft fragrance so I'm sure you can relax with this :) I will show you the others next time. My favorite junior high memory

I have a great memory of junior high school with my grandmother. When I was a 2nd grade of a junior high school student, I traveled with my grandmother in the summer vacation. We went to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong for 6days. It was the hardest travel for me because we went to those 4 countries only in 6days! Can you imagine how hard it is? We had to take airplane for 5times in 6days. That was so long way to get back to Japan. However, that trip is the best trip for me. I think that's because I could go to the other countries that I've never been to and experienced so many new things thanks to my grandmother. She is so active still now and she likes to go overseas very much. She has been to many many countries. Anyway, that's my favorite junior high memory.

Favorite place

Today, we talked about our "Favorite place" in the speaking class. My favorite place is Ninigi Bakery & Cafe. This cafe is in the Sheraton Hotel, Miyazaki. Here is resonable and there has also some sofa which can relax very much. I used to come here very often when I was a high school student, after school. After 6:00 pm, almost breads become half price :) Here is very quiet and good mode. I want to go next time I back to Miyazaki ^^

Today, I went to the soccer game for the first time. It was the last home game of Roasso Kumamoto. I went there by bus with Satoko and I saw the game with Ryoko, her mother, Kana and Satoko. Ryoko gave us chickets. I was so happy to see the real soccer game at KKWing :)

Roasso scored the first goal n the second half and score the goal again soon after the first goal!! We were so excited and enjoyed cheering them. In about the 40th minutes of the second half, Roasso scored the goal again!! We were very happy ^^! It was my first soccer game and they won, so I'm really happy and I appreciate Ryoko and her mother very much!! Thank you so much for the nice game!!

Kagura

Do you know "Kagura"? It's very famous traditional dance festival in Takachiho, perhaps in Japan. So many people visit Takachiho to see this festival. This was held in 22nd November to 23rd November. They dance until morning through the whole night. This dance is undecimal for Japanese mythology. My father's hometown is Takachiho so we go this festival every year. We went to Takachiho after I finished the 5th period on Monday and we visited here, 11:30 pm. I like this dance (photo) the best because she is really really really cute! Her endearing gesture is sooooo cute!! Actually, inside her is a man. Women can't go inside the Sacred Rope so only men can dance inside there. Even if inside is a man, she is really lovely so I love this dance the best. Rather, everyone likes this dance the best. This dance is a story of Izanagi and Izanami who made a country, Japan. This story is also very funny and they give us a lot of smiles and that's also the reason why I like this dance the best. They hug some people for dance and it's the funniest scene of this dance. There were more people than last year and a few foreigner was there. Someone said "Oh My God!!" and it was really funny :) Many years ago, when I was a little child, I was like a boy so at first, the woman hugged me but the man realized that I'm a girl so he hurriedly came to me and then, the man hugged me. At that time, everyone was laughing and I was really happy ^^ However, this dance is danced in very late time, like 2:00 am or sometimes 3:00 am so it's hard for children to see this dance but many children are looking forward to seeing this dance and so are adults. Please come to Takachiho once! It's worth seeing this traditional dance festival once :)

UFO!?

I came back to Miyazaki last Friday night after I went to the part time job. On that night, my cousin stayed our home so we had party until 4:30 am. We really laughed so much. haha Next day, we went out for lunch, then I had to go to the workshop so I went. Then after that, we went out for dinner. It was really funny dinner time and after that, we went to Karaoke and sang until 2:00 am.
Then next day, I went to my grandparents' house to see our dog, Ujiro. He was of course very cute!!!
After that, my mother,sister and I went to the sea to see the moon. On that day, there were no clouds so we could see the moon very clearly and was soooo beutiful :)
Then!!!! I think you wouldn't believe but I'm sure we saw a UFO!! It was on the sky and didn't move but had a strong red light. We thought it was a airplane first, but it didn't move so we said "Isn't that UFO?!" just for kidding. However, it suddenly started to dissappear!!! My sister took that moment on her camera. It was really amazing. I'm sure that was a UFO. hahaha
Anyway, the scenery from there was sooooo lovely and I liked it very much :)

BR 2-07: The Barbecue

I had BBQ this summer vacation. We went to Korea and after we returned to Miyazaki, we had BBQ at my friend's house. I haven't been having BBQ in a long time at that time so I enjoyed very much with them. Recently, I went to BBQ with my club's OB and teammates after the Kyusyu Students Regatta. He paid us for half of the price. I was very hungry at that time so it was so nice. However, when I was a high school student, I couldn't eat any meats. Now I'm getting over slowly so I can eat but can't eat too much. If I ate too much, I feel not good. I like chicken the best and can't eat beef so much.

BR 2-06: The Great Gatsby

I read this book because I watched the movie of this book in the class. Gatsby is of course “great” I think. I have some reasons to think so and the most important point is to wait favorite girl for a long time. Gatsby and Daisy were lovers but Gatsby went to the war and Daisy couldn’t wait for him. Then she got married with another man who is very rich. In this story, Daisy is said that “idiot and pretty woman”. She symbolizes the age. Anyway, when Gatsby went back from the war, she has already got married. He knows that but he thinks that Daisy doesn’t love her husband. Then Gatsby try to plunder her from her husband.
Gatsby was waiting for her for a long time. That is great to love and wait for a long time. On the other hands, he was having party almost every nights or weekends. I felt that he is playboy. However he is rich, I think he is too much. For me, I can’t trust him.
But I like this story and I have to write report about this movie so I’ll do my best :)

BR 2-05: Summer at the zoo

This story is about to work as junior zookeepers at the local zoo. 3 students work as junior zookeepers. I have tried zookeeper too when I was a junior high school student. As you know, we have work experience in junior high and high school. When I was a junior high school student, I wanted to work related animals because I really love animals so I chose the local zoo. We worked there for 3 days but it was very hard work. First, I cleaned the hutches of animals. That was the hardest work for me. Then I made food for animals and that was interesting. Then I fed them. I also touched many animals. They were really cute and I was so happy. I had very funny experience once. When I was cleaning corridor in front of the cage of gorilla, the gorilla threw the skin of banana! It was surprising but really funny.
I love zoo and when I go to the zoo, I was healed by animals. I would like to go the zoo!! Haha

My favorite movie

My favorite movie is "The King and The Crown". This movie is the most famous movie in Korea. This movie has set an attendance record; more than 10 million. When I went to Korea 5 years ago, I went to see this movie with my friends. At that time, of course there was no subtitle of Japanese but I cried a lot. It was also showed in Japan and I went to the theater with my friends and I cried again. This movie is really good story and I have watched about 4 times and everytime I watch it, I always cry at the last scene. The story is about the showmen in the sixteenth century. My favorite slogan

"We tend to be good at those things we like" This is my favorite slogan. This slogan is given by my former teacher when I was a junior high school student. She was very strict woman but she was always thinking about us, students. She was a only teacher that I respect. If she was not my English teacher, I wouldn't study English very hard. I appeared on stage for English speech contest. At first, I was so bad at pronunciation and accent. She always cut up with me because my English was terrible. Then I practiced really hard with her, even in summer vacation. We both didn't have summer vacation for practicing. Thanks to her, I could get a best prize at the contest. She seldom big up me but I know that thanks to that, I could win. She gave that slogan for me when I graduated the junior high school.

My favorite dessert is cake!! I really love it. However, I can't eat it so often. I eat only for birthday for someone or celebrate something. In these years, I make cake for birthday cake. For example, when my family's birthday, I always make. They glad if my younger sister or I make the cake for them. That's also happy for me and her. Especially, Christmas is the most important. My mother's birthday is Christmas eve so my family has Christmas party on that day every year. The cake means birthday cake and the Christmas cake so I try to make the most difficult one. I also like my mother's dishes so when I back home in Miyazaki, I'm so happy to eat her dishes. My favorite class

My favorite class is American literary history. In this class, we usually watch some movies. I like to watch movies so I like this class. In each semester, we watch one or two whole movies. However, we have to write a report about it. That's very difficult for me. I don't know what to write. I'm really not good at writing reports. I have to write until November 5th but I'm not sure whether I can write well or not. But!! I know that I have to write until 5th so I'll do my best. I hope I can find the theme of the report. iPad

On Monday, I used iPad for the first time on the speaking class for a presentation. I was excited because I saw and used the real iPad for the first time. It was big than I expected and was very thin. I thought that it's very useful for using computer because we can bring it to anywhere where has a internet.

The presentation was about the "new me". My new name is Aba and I'm from South Africa then I'm a doctor. It's very cool, isn't it? I have a big house and a nice car. I can be a person that I want to be, in that person. haha

Essay 2-02b: So I study

I have learned 4 languages; Japanese, English, Korean and Spanish. For me, studing other languages is to meet and know another people in the world. However, at the same time, it's very difficult to study other languages so I didn't imagine that I will be intrested in studying other languages, especially, English.

But first of all, we are Japanese so of course we have studied Japanese since I was a little child and until now in the university to be a Japanese teacher. To be honest, I didn't like Japanese classes until I entered to the KGU because Japanese is very difficult, isn't it? That's why I didn't like the Japanese classes and I liked the English classes in the junior high school. However, since I entered the KGU, I was intrested in Japanese. Japanese is intresting!, I felt. Then I desided to be a Japanese teacher so I took a special classes for being a Japanese teacher.

Next is of course about English. I didn't realize that "I like English!" until I got a perfect score in the first exam of junior high school. I was studying English before I entered the junior high school but I didn't think I like English. I just wanted to study English to talk with my host family in Singapore. Then I got a perfect score and I realized. I really like English and want to learn more and more! Someday, I can talk with my family in Singapore very well, I was thinking like that and I studied really hard with very nice teacher.I also went to the extra English lesson at NOVA but as you know, there closed suddenly so I studied by myself at school. I came to the KGU of course to study English. I want to be a Japanese teacher in abroad so I have to study English very hard. I love English so I study :)

I also learned Korean. That's because, I got Korean friends when I was a junior high school student. I was listening to Korean songs and I liked the Korean singer. Then my cousin received two Korean boys for homestay. We became very good friends and they were like my brothers. Both of them could speak Japanese very well but I wanted to talk in Korean. I studied with my cousin and sister. I couldn't study Korean in junior high and high school so I took Korean in the university. Now I have another Korean friends and I want to talk with them in Korean.

However, I don't have friends who can speak Spanish. I was wondering which language should I take in the university. All 4 languages are difficult for me so I really think about that. Then I heared that Spanish is the 2nd language in the world so I desided to take Spanish. However, it was soooooo difficult for me and that tortured me very much. Teacher says it's not difficult and Spanish is very usual language, but I didn't think so. I couldn't remember words. I think that was because I couldn't like Spanish. I learned that if there is no reason or emotion of like, I can't remember anything. I should have studied Spanish more. I think about myself now.

The other language that I want to try is Chinese. Since I have my host family in Singapore and they also speak Chinese. That's why I want to try Chinese. I heard it's difficult to study Chinese but I think I can do it if I do my best. If I have a chance, I really want to try studying Chinese.

As I wrote in the first paragraph, studying other languages are to meet and know another people in the world. Every time I got foreign friends, I feel like I want to study the language that they speak. That's why I study languages. For Spanish, that was really sorry but I think I will meet someone who speaks Spanish someday. Maybe that time, I will study Spanish again. I love languages, especially English. I do my best to speak English and to be a good Japanese teacher!

Umpire

I took umpire test of rowing last Sunday. On Saturday, we had a training program for the rules and umpires for 4 hours at Esuko. It was sooo long and cold. It was not difficult, we just read the rules one by one. Then we did last years test for practice.
Then on Sunday, we also had a training program for 2 hours. Then soon after the training program, we had test. It was very easy this year. However, oral test was a little bit difficult because we had to remember some of the rules correctly. There were 15 people and the oral test took much time more than that I expected. It took 30 minutes per person. I've been waited for 3 hours so I remember all the rules correctly. The oral test was a little bit difficult but it took only 10 minutes for me thanks to 3 hours. That day was very tired so I had a leisurely bath then I went to bed very early and slept a lot :)

Halloween Party

On the November 11th, we had Halloween Party ^^! After we finished 4th period, we went shopping for that party. Actually, that party also had a surprise birthday party for Kana. Her birthday is 3 month ago but we couldn't have party for her. We planned to have on camp but she couldn't come so we had on that day. We had little cake and some snacks. Then after that, we went to Karaoke!!!!! It was really really really great!!!! I realllllllly enjoyed!!! It was a lot of fun!!!!! GREAT :) We also planned for Sayaka but she couldn't come because she had a part time job so we gave her a present next morning ^^

Kyusyu Students Regatta

On the November 7th, we had Kyusyu Students Regatta at Kikuchi. I woke up at 5 am and went there at 7:30 am. I was sooooo sleepy and we had to wait until 4 pm because the university students' regatta is from 4 pm. Until that, high school students' Kyusyu regatta was held. Kikuchi was very cold and we had too much time so I walked with my friend. However, we got a phone call from our OB and we had to help them again. I timed high school students. I'm almost professional for timing them. haha I time most of the high school students' races every time.
In the lunch time, other member came and prepared for the race. My friend and I found a very nice place to sleep and we slept for a while. There was sooo nice. There would be our secret place. haha
Then from 4 pm, we had races for university students. I had to do waterman which holds the tail of boat in the water. However, it was really cold!!!!! I thought my hand would be gone somewhere.... really cold.....
Unfortunately, we couldn't win but I enjoyed the last regatta of this year. We left there 6:30 pm and was very dark. My senior asked us to go BBQ with him so we had to go but I haven't been BBQ in a long time so I was happy :) However, I got up very early that morning so I was really sleepy and tired :(

TVXQ Party!!

On the November 6th, we had TVXQ Party!! The member were; Satoko, Megu, Nabe and I. We all like TVXQ so we had a party for that. Af first, we met at the in front of the PARCO then we went to McDonald's to have lunch. We talked about ourselves there and we went to Karaoke then sang their songs. It was really funny and we had a lot of fun!! We sang until 8pm and we back to our own houses. I almost first time to see Megu and Nabe but we became close very soon. They are so nice :)

Yesterday was really cold and I went to Ezuko after the 5th period had finished. I really didn't want to go because it was soooo cold yesterday. However, I had to go so I went. When I got there, they were adjusting their own boats. I helped and waited them. Then after we finished the club, my junior asked us to go to eat out for dinner so we went to Joyfull near the KGU. short trip to Fukuoka

Today, my father was day off so my family came to pick me up to Kumamoto and we went to Fukuoka. First, we went to the Yahoo dome to go to the Oh Sadaharu museum. My younger sister likes baseball now and she wanted to go there. There was interesting than I expected :) We could enjoy ourselves. We also could see the inside of dome. Tomorrow, there will be held city marathon so many people were preparing for that. After we went there, we went to Yodobashi camera and I got a new camera. Since my former camera's battery run down so my father bought it for me as a early christmas present ^^ I wanted a new one because I will go to Yamaguchi in December so I was very happy!! Typing HW: My favorite car

My favorite car is my mother's car. I like that car because it is very large and comfortable. I liked the car before that car but it had accident and broken so we had to buy a new one. I was really sad because we have used that former car for 14 years. I loved that car so I felt really sad. Then the new car came to my house. That's white and can ride 7 people in it. I like to travel with that car because we can listen to the iPod's music, can sleep and very comfortable. We traveled Kumamoto and Oita last year and in the end of this year, we will go to the family trip again so I'm very looking forward to traveling with that car.

Miyazaki

I went back to Miyazaki last Friday night because I had something to do in Saturday.

On Satueday, I talked with my mother until 4:00am. We talked about a lot of things. She is my best mother, of course. I really love my family :)

On Sunday, I of course went to Nichinan seaside. Do you remember? I wrote essay about here ^^ My favorite place. This day was perfect weather and was soooooo beautiful. This season is the most beautiful, I think. When I come here, I am relaxed and feel very light. I want you to visit here!!

On Monday, my father took me to Kumomato. Monday is his day off so we came together. We had lunch and dinner together. We ate sushi for lunch and ate French course for dinner. I was very happy to spent with my father ^^ I so appreciate to him !! Thank you ^^!

Cake smorgasbord

I went to cake smorgasbord on October 11th. My friend stayed my home the day before and we wated to eat so many cakes so we went to the cake smorgasbord which is in Hotel Nikko. There were 10 kinds of cakes. There were not only cakes but also sandwiches, spaghetti and drinks. They were all soooo nice!! really nice!!! Essay 2-02a: So I study

I have learned 4 languages; Japanese, English, Korean and Spanish. For me, studing other languages is to meet and know another people in the world. However, at the same time, it's very difficult to study other languages so I didn't imagine that I will be intrested in studying other languages, especially, English.

But first of all, we are Japanese so of course we have studied Japanese since I was a little child and until now in the university to be a Japanese teacher. To be honest, I didn't like Japanese classes until I entered to the KGU because Japanese is very difficult, isn't it? That's why I didn't like the Japanese classes and I liked the English classes in the junior high school. However, since I entered the KGU, I was intrested in Japanese. Japanese is intresting!, I felt. Then I desided to be a Japanese teacher.

Next is of course about English. I didn't realize that "I like English!" until I got a perfect score in the first exam of junior high school. I was studying English before I entered the junior high school but I didn't think I like English. I just wanted to study English to talk with my host family in Singapore. Then I got a perfect score and I realized. I really like English and want to learn more and more! Someday, I can talk with my family in Singapore very well, I was thinking like that and I studied really hard with very nice teacher.I also went to the extra English lesson at NOVA but as you know, there closed suddenly so I studied by myself at school. I came to the KGU of course to study English. I want to be a Japanese teacher in abroad so I have to study English very hard. I love English so I study :)

I also learned Korean. That's because, I got Korean friends when I was a junior high school student. I was listening to Korean songs and I liked the Korean singer. Then my cousin received two Korean boys for homestay. We became very good friends and they were like my brothers. Both of them could speak Japanese very well but I wanted to talk in Korean. I studied with my cousin and sister. I couldn't study Korean in junior high and high school so I took Korean in the university. Now I have another Korean friends and I want to talk with them in Korean.

However, I don't have friends who can speak Spanish. I was wondering which language should I take in the university. All 4 languages are difficult for me so I really think about that. Then I heared that Spanish is the 2nd language in the world so I desided to take Spanish. However, it was soooooo difficult for me and that tortured me very much. Teacher says it's not difficult and Spanish is very usual language, but I didn't think so. I couldn't remember words. I think that was because I couldn't like Spanish. I learned that if there is no reason or emotion of like, I can't remember anything. I should have studied Spanish more. I think about myself now.

As I wrote in the first paragraph, studying other languages are to meet and know another people in the world. Everytime I got foreign friends, I feel like I want to study the language that they speak. That's why I study languages. For Spanish, that was really sorry but I think I will meet someone who speaks Spanish someday. Maybe that time, I will study Spanish again. I love languages, especially English. I do my best to speak English and to be a good Japanese teacher!

Language learning experience

I have learned Spanish for a year last year. I chose Spanish because I thought it would be useful for me. However, Spanish was difficult for me than I expected. The pronunciation is not so difficult but I had a difficult for translating in reading section. We learned conversation and a little bit grammar in the 1st semester but we started translating suddenly in the 2nd semester so it was really hard for me and I don't have a good image for Spanish because of that. haha

The other language that I have learned is Korean.

BR 2-04: Heating up

I think everyone knows that the global warming is very serious problem that can make big changes to the earth's environment. I also know it and I'm wondering about the earth's environment. Nowadays, many new high technology manufctures in the market. Those are really high quality and thanks to them, we live in a very convenient world. However, when they get newer, more and more energy are used to get them newer. Is this very good thinf? I don't think so. High quality manufactures make our lives very convenient, but on the other hand, animals are suffering from those high quality manufactures. High quality manufactures and convenient world cause the global warming.

Recently, the climate is really strange, as you can feel, summer comes earlier and winter comes later. That's because of the global warming as you know. This summer was very hot and that was called the "heat wave". There are more hot nights than last year in many places. That's very dangerous for our lives and animals. Everyone knows that, but they don't stop producting new manufactures that cause the global warming one after another. They are trying to less using energy but the global warming will not stop. Human is like a devil. I think all the animals feel like that. We are all destroyer of the earth so we have to try to stop the global warming very hardly and we have to save animals and the eatrh.

Typing HW: My favorite place

One of my favorite places is Genting Highland in Malaysia. While I was staying in Singapore for a month in February and March, my host father and his family took me there. There is very cool and so good weather because there is 1,700m above sea level. There is built top of the mountain, takes one hour from Kuala Lumpur. We took bus and had to go up for an hour. It took about 6 hours from from Singapore to Genting Highland. We left Singapore at 10:00pm then arrived there at 4:00am. There is highland resort and many people go there when they are in the vacation, and that time was the vacation so there were so many people when we went there. There are also indoor amusement grounds and casino. I went to the indoor amusement grounds with 6 year child and enjoyed until 1:00am. However, I couldn't go to the casino because I didn't reach to 21 years old. There is also many shopping sentre. Most of men go to the casino and while they are in the casino, women go to shopping. We stayed on the 15th floor of very nice and rich hotel then I could touch the clouds. It was really amazing!! My first experience to touch the clouds so I was very excited :) The climate there was excellent and I really love there and would like to go there with my family next time ^^

Essay 2-01b: In front of me

Hello. Dou you know where this place in this picture is? You can't see my favorite place in this picture but I took this picture from my favorite place in Winter 2 years ago. My favorite is Horikiri Pass. This place is located in Nichinan seaside and called "Michi no Eki". In English, I don't know how to say but maybe "station of the road".


This place used to be a very famous place for honeymoon in Japan. Here has the parm tree and newly married couple took picture with the tree and pose for a picture. Recently, there is not so many newly married couple but still comes many tourist. This place is nowadays, one of the most famous places in Miyazaki.


Why I like this place is because I can see the beautiful ocean from here. As you can see, in this picture, you can enjoy watching the really huge ocean. This picture is just a part of the ocean.
I like to come here in every weather and season. For example, if it's sunny I of course want to come here because I can see the great ocean. If it's rainning, I also want to come here but I don't know the reason. When it's very cold, I really want to come here. In winter, I can see the most beautiful ocean from here. In winter, the sky is very clear and the sunset is very beautiful. In the night, I can see the moon and the ocean. It's so visionary landscape, moon and the ocean. I can see the such beautiful landscapes.That's why I like this place.


I also like to eat ice-cream cone which is sold in this place. There are 4 flavors; vanilla, mango, shrimp and angelica keiskei(明日葉). I haven't tried the last one but I've tried the other 3 flavors. I like vanilla the best and mango was nice but shrimp was really tasted shrimp so it was a little bit strange. I eat ice-cream cone even in Winter. Of course it's very cold to eat in Winter but I love it. It's sweet and nice.


As you can see, I love this place. When I'm tired or in a hard lot, I always come here to calm down myself. When I'm watching the big and moving wave of the ocean, I feel quite relaxed. I'm not tired of watching the ocean even if I stayed there for a hour or more because the ocean has movement of wave. I feel like my heart became bigger. This place is power spot for me. This place gives me power so I love this place.

BR 2-03: Scary Movie

I thought this story is about the scary movie but it wasn't. The story was about the escaped spider. I don't like scary movies and spiders eather. I really hate them. When I was a little child, I was a little bit intrested in scary movies or TV programs. However, when I became older, I came to hate them. If I saw some scary scene, I feel really scary and can't forget. I'm living by myself now so I don't watch any scary movies or TV programs absolutely. I also don't like spiders. I've hated them since I was a baby. I really don't like both of them. I of course can't touch the spider so I just can't move, and sometimes, I want to cry when I'm very scary.

This story is about the future (in 2030). The New York Cafe got an e-mail from S.Fuller. He wants to help people and make them happy.
By the way, do you a favorite cafe? I have my favorite cafe in Miyazaki. The cafe's name is "Ninigi Bakery". The name is "Bakery" but there is a cafe. There is very nice and cozy cafe. It located in the Sheraton Hotel but it's not so expensive. We can enjoy the atomosphere of tourists there. haha The bread there are of course great. I like the hot chocolate and pink lemonade there :) When I was a high school student, I used to go there after school about three or four times in a week. I really love there and so does my family.

My favorite travel

I like to travel in Japan and all over the world. I have been to some countries and my favorite country to travel is Singapore. I like there because the street is no rubbish and very safe country. When I went there this February, I went to shopping by myself. I also went to shopping there when I was 10 years old. At that time, I went with my cousin but she was still 14 years old so there is very safe country. I like the Singapore zoo the best. There are so many animals and very huge. Monday

The day before yesterday, I ate lunch with my club mates. I had classes on the second and fifth period so I had a lot of time until the fifth period. We talked about many things during the lunch time. After that, we went to bakery and were talking until the fifth period has started.

When I came home, I went to the super market to buy for dinner. I made dinner and I talked with my best friend on skype for over 3 hours ^^; haha When we talk on the skype, we usually talk more than 3 hours but it's not talking sometimes. We watch the same TV program or call someone different person on the cellphone or do funny face and so on. Time goes very speedy. When we cut off the skype, we both feel sad because each of us living alone.

I like my best friend because I can talk everything to her and when I'm in trouble, she encourages me. She doesn't say anything but I am encouraged just talking with her :)

BR 2-01: Happy Christmas

Do you like christmas? I really love christmas!! It makes me excited and happy. There is also another reason that I love christmas. That is... my mother's birthday!! Her birthday is 24th December so we have christmas party on the 24th every year. I make a cake for her every year. Last year, I made buche de Noel (French cake) for her. I sent some pictures of cake and she chose that so I made that. This picture is what I made last year. In this book, there is a recipe to make this buche de Noel. I made by different way and it was very difficult to make it because this was the first time to make a roll cake for me so I was worrying about making mistakes. However, I could make so I was soo happy and I was glad that my mother and family liked it very much ^^ I'm looking forward to making cake this year too!!

September 20th

I saw Yujiro in the noon this day. He was soooo cute as usual. I massaged him. hahaha

In the night, I went to fireworks display. This is the giggest fireworks display in Miyazaki. It was planned to be held in Augst but because of the foot and mouth disease, it was postponement. However, I think this day was very good for watching fireworks because this day was very cool and nice weather. Augst is too hot to watch so I think September is good month to watch :)

The fireworks were really amazing and I was impressed by them. I was my second time to watch the fireworks but this time was very near so it was sooooo great!!

On this day, we did birthday party for my father. His real birthday is 21st but I had to come back to Kumamoto so we did on this day. I made birthday cake for him. We gave a present for him and we were glad that he liked it very much ^^!

This day, my father didn't have to go to work but I had seminar in the noon...
After the seminar, we went to a little festival which was held in near the prefectual office. We heard jazz band then after that, we went to karaoke. I haven't been karaoke with my family so it had a lot of fun. It was really funny :)
Then we went to the live house because my father's friend play the guitar with his band member. It was nice and I enjoyed the song.

I took the bus at 7:10 pm because there was no more seat on the 6:00 pm one. There was a movie in the bus and I was watching it. It was really good story and I thought that I want to love someone. haha
I reached to Miyazaki at 10:30 pm then I saw my family. This day, I ate light meal and slept.

My favorite drink is milk tea. Actually, I didn't like it until I was a 2nd grade of high school student but one day, it was a very cold day, I was waiting for my mother to pick me up. It was really cold day so I bought a milk tea for my mother because she liked the milk tea at that time. However, my mother hadn't come after 15 minutes. I wanted to try the milk tea once. They I thought I will share it with her so I opened and drank. It was so nice than I expected and I loved it. I drank all of them at all so I bought another one for my mother. This is why I love milk tea now.

I like the autumn the best of all four season. The reason why is because, autumn is very cool and so comfortable for me. I don't like the hot weather so I like the autumn the best. However, autumn is a little bit difficult to think what to wear. It's cool outside but in the noon, it's still bit hot so I am always thinking hard what to wear. I like almost all the animals but I like the dogs the most. I really love dogs and my grand parents have the dog whose name in "Yujiro". He is 14 years old already but so fine. He doesn't eat meat because when he eats the meat, he has stomachache every time so he is vegetalian. Isn't very funny? He is a dog but can't eat meat. But I really love him. When I see him, I can relax. Now he lives in the inside of the house and he is soooo cute and lovely!! I really love dogs but also like cats. Anyway, I like all the animals so I love to go to the zoo everywhere.

My favorite sport to watch

My favorite sports to watch are regatta and soccer. I of course love regatta to watch because I belong to the rowing club and regatta can't predict until they finieshes the race so it's interesting to watch and so exciting. The other sport is soccer. As you know, there held world cup in South Africa this year. I was watching it and I found soccer is very exciting to watch. I knew it but I realized again this summer. I watched all the game of Japan and cheer for them. I was looking forward to watch the game and after the world cup had finished, I also watched the Kirin challenge cup. I was happy that Japan beat Paraguay!!

My favorite music

Recently, I often listen to ORANGERANGE's song. I used to listen to TVXQ's song but recently, I'd rather listen to ORANGERANGE's song. I have been to their live for 2 times when I was a junior high school student and high school. To be honest, I'm not so interested them but I liked their music and also my younger sister liked them very much so I followed her. They came to Miyazaki as the all parts of the country live. Their live and talk was really funny. I like their music because their music cheers me so I often listen to their music recently because I'm not fine recently because of the club. I recommend to listen to their songs when you're tired.

My favorite vacation memory

My favorite vacation memory is this spring vacation. I stayed in Singapore for a month. I love SIngapore and have been there about 10 times. I have my host family in Singapore and we have known each other for over 10 years. This spring vacati on, I went there by myself. I wanted to go because I wanted to see them and just wanted to go. Spring vacation was so long so I thought it's chance to stay in Singapore to study English. However, I know that Singaporian speaks a little bit different language called "Singlish" but I like it so I didn't care. I helped my host mother for 3 weeks. I met many children and they were really cute!! I love them and I miss them very much now. I will go to Singapore in next spring vacation with my friends so I hope I can see them again.

My favorite high school memory

My favorite high school memory is the clubactivities. I belonged to the rowing club and my teammates were 7 people. We entered the rowing club at the same time. Until we entered the rowing club, there were only 3 people in the rowing club. I always had training and it was really hard for us. We took part in the inter-high-school athletic competition every year. My best race was in the 2nd year. That competition was the best for me and also for my best friend. We had so many hard troubles and we cried a lot but it was good memory for me. Now, I also belong to the rowing club in the university but I'm not rower anymore because of my backache so the memory of the club and as a rower is my favorite memory in my high school days.

Joyful again

Today we went to Joyful again. hahaha We have too much rest time so we don't have nothing to do so we went to Joyful to have lunch. When we go there, we usually drink much juice because vety hot outside and we talk about the club and love. My friend and I can't say anything about love because we don't have a boyfriend either ^^; haha
After we went back to Ezuko, we had the club as usual. Then after the club, I went to my friend's house again because she says she is lonely so I went to her house and were talking and sleeping ^^; hahaha

September 10th

I had club in the morning as usual then I went to part time job in the afternoon. I was tired taking care of children. They are of course very cute but they don't listen to us so ... I get very tired every time ^^; haha
After I finished the part time job, I went to my friend's new house. My friend started living alone for just 3 months so I went to her house with friends. There are very confortable !! Then we went to down town and we went to Karaoke. We sang until in the morning then we took shower at her house and we went to the club. It was sooo hard for me because I didn't sleep at all but we enjoyed very much ^^
However, in this day, we had a little problem in the club. We were sooooo ungry and I cried...
That was really terrible.

On this day, I had club as usual until noon so my friends and I went to Joyful after the club again. We had lunch there and talked really a lot about the club and so on.
After we had lunch there, I had to go to the ophthalmology to take contact lens so I went to down town. I was sooo sleepy while I was in the bus on my way to down town ^^;
Then after that, my juniors came to my house and they cooked Saraudon. It was very nice and it was my first time to cook Saraudon in my oun house because I usually don't make Saraudon but go to the restaurant. My juniors are from Nagasaki so they missed Saraudon. hahaha

CAMP!!

On the September 6th and 7th, we went to camp ^^!! We gathered at 11:00 am then we took purikura then we went to have lunch at McDonald's. Then after we had lunch and talked, we went to shopping for dinner.

We took bus at 15:30 and went to Shichijo. It took about 1 hour from Kotsu centre. When we got there, we saw Satoko because she came directry.

We stayed at the log house. We went to the hot spring and we walked in the walking bath for about 40 minutes ^^; haha It was very interesting!!! We'd like to go that bath again :=)

Then we back to the log house and we had dinner. We took curry rice. After that, we played cards and uno. That was sooooo funny!!!hahaha We were laughing all the time :)

In the midnight, we went to walk outside and Ryoko, Satoko and I talked until about 3:30 am at outside. We talked about many things and also though about life, school days, future and so on.

Anyway, we didn't sleep at all. hahaha

The next day, we took the bus again and went back to Kumamoto city. When I got to my house, I was sooo sleepy because I didn't sleep but I had to return the DVDs so I went to Daiei and then, I washed the chothes then I slept from 2:00 pm. haha

When I woke up, it was about 8:00 pm. I wanted to watch soccer game but I overslept so I hurry to turn on the TV. I missed the first 10 minutes but I could watch the soccer.

I really enjoyed these 2 days with them!! I was sooo happy to be with them :)

I wanna go again. The next time, I want to go with them and Chihiro, Kana, Chikako, Aya and so on!! ^^
